SlovakInfo.com was founded in 2001 to promote networking opportunities for Slovak professionals and Slovak students working and living in the tri-state area ( New York , New Jersey , Connecticut ).

We started as only three enthusiasts calling our friends to get together and meet. We have since expanded into an informal network of more than 600 professionals who meet �virtually' at SlovakInfo.com and in person at our regular events. Our activities include informal gatherings, sports, and cultural activities.

We meet bi-monthly, inviting guest speakers to our forums; past speakers include Slovak diplomats, prominent business professionals, and pop stars. These forums provide great insight into Professional paths, developments and opportunities.

Our forums also allow time for making new friendships, fostering informal networking, getting advice or simply chatting about our daily challenges.
